Getting to Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembongan is a small island that belongs to Bali. This is a larger island than the Gili Islands but much smaller than both Bali and Lombok. You can get to Nusa Lembongan from Bali, Lombok and the Gili’s by EKA JAYA FAST BOAT
Gili Islands
The Gili islands are 3 islands situated between Lombok and Bali.
These enchanting islands are barely recognizable on a world map and
rapidly becoming one of the worlds top holiday destinations with
something for everyone. Originally a heaven for divers due to the
phenominal biodiversity hidden in the waters surrounding of this
reclusive island the “Turtle Capital of the world” has some truly
spectacular wildlife to observe and enjoy. It quickly became a stopover
point for backpackers looking for a true island experience with a taste
of party thrown in. The Gili’s are evolving into
something more; not only an experience of a life time for divers and a
stop off for backpackers but a paradise island perfect for family and
couple retreats due to the rolling sandy beaches and crystal clear
waters. The Gili’s have become a breath of fresh air for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The laid back nature of Gili, with the complete absence of motorized vehicles is something that has to be experienced to believe. Each of the Gilis
has its own feel and atmosphere in its own little world oblivious of
the on goings of the outside world. Each of them, a true paradise island!
Gili Trawangan
The largest and most developed of the 3 Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan has something for everyone. This is the most popular tourist destination of the 3, Gili Trawangan has golden white beaches and unbelievable diverse corals as do the other 2 islands, however it also has a vibrant night life, a huge night market open every night with sellers touting all sorts of local cuisine from fresh barbequed fish with sambal to some of Indonesia’s signature dishes such as Bakso as well as a wide range of restaurants offering different cuisine (there’s even an Indian restaurant). With over 15 dive shops, over 180 hotels, endless activities from Snorkling and fishing trips which can be booked at tourist centres all around the island to pampering Spa treatments where you can experience an authentic Indonesian massage on the beachfront to yoga, gym and free diving lessons for those wanting to stay fit and active during their stay.

Gili Meno
The least developed island of the 3, Gili Meno is the quietest of the 3 Gili’s; a perfect destination for honey mooning couples or those just wanting to get it away from it all. Gili Meno has a beautiful natural lake near the center of the island and a huge bird sanctuary which has tropical bird species from all over the world and even quite bizarrely an estuarine crocodile. Even if you are staying on Gili Trawangan it’s well worth getting a local boat over to check out Gili Meno even just for a day.

Gili Air
The smallest of the Gili’s and closest in proximity to Lombok, this island is in limbo between the high level of development on Gili Trawangan and the almost absence of it on Gili Meno. Like the other two, Gili Air has beautiful rolling beaches, crystal clear waters and enchanting corals to be explored. The head of all 3 islands resides on Gili Air so if you want to find out what is so special about it go and check it out for yourself!

Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembogan belongs to Bali and like Bali it is blessed by the Hindu culture and religion. Nusa Lembongan is just 45 minutes away from Bali by fast boat. The fast boats leave from padangbai Harbour in Bali. Nusa Lembongan is quite different to Bali and known for its peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Nusa Lembongan is known for it’s amazing views, ocean, snorkeling and unlike the Gili Islands it’s surfing. Nusa Lembongan is perfect for couples on their honey moon, families and travelers who want to explore more Indonesian Islands.
Amed
Amed is located in the East of Bali and is known for excellent SCUBA diving and snorkeling. Amed is peaceful and quiet and surrounded by black sand beaches. Amed is recommended for beginner divers, there is a nice wall just a few minutes away by boat. Kuda Hitam is the only fast boat that takes you from Amed to Lombok or the Gili Islands.
